Lead at 0.9 ppm per serving. Rice-based foods tend to have higher heavy metal levels due to how rice absorbs metals from soil and water. This product is classified low risk in the current dataset.
Lead found in decorative vinyl exterior and zipper hardware. Lead levels in vinyl exterior at 145 ppm, exceeding CPSC limit. Vinyl can transfer lead to hands during normal use. Interior food-contact surface tested separately at 2 ppm.
Trace amounts of lead detected at 0.8 ppm, within this dataset's low-risk band for baby food products. Lead likely comes from soil uptake in root vegetables. Not an immediate hazard but repeated daily exposure should be monitored.
Vinyl material contains lead stabilizers at 6 ppm. While below the 90 ppm CPSC limit for children's products, any detectable lead in a product used so close to an infant's mouth is concerning. Material can degrade over time, increasing exposure.
This recall involves Boyro Baby's baby walkers, model number US-B01. The plastic walkers were sold in black, blue and gray with five levels of height adjustments. They have a black or gray rotating seat, a matching footpad, six wheels and four removable toys (an owl, a flower, an arch with a ball and a three-button panel that plays music and lights up.) "Ready To Ride" appears on a label on one of the walker's legs and the height-adjustment buttons are on another leg. "Boyro Baby" and the model number are printed on the tracking label, located under the seat cushion.
